Are your products organic?

Yes. All our products contain a high percentage of organic ingredients. We are very careful about where we source our ingredients as we want to ensure they are natural and of the best quality. It is not always possible to source organic for all of our ingredients but all of our products contain organic and natural ingredients.

Are your products suitable for Vegans?

Yes. All of our products are suitable for vegans. We never use animal bi-products or products which contain beeswax & honey .

Are your products cruelty free?

Yes. We are opposed to all forms of animal testing.  No animal testing is carried out on our products. We only work with suppliers that share our values and have policies in place.

Do you sell your products in China?

No.

Why are your products sold in books?

Our products are made using active natural ingredients. Our signature books house our products to help keep them away from direct sunlight and preserve their potency. Books also reinforce our message to enhance rather than hide your story. A book represents our belief that being clever is  beautiful. And no one should ever judge a book by its cover.

Wasteful packaging is also a huge concern for us. We want to limit the amount of waste our industry contributes whilst keeping the sensorial love we have for packaging. Our books are designed to keep so you can refill your books with our REFILL CHAPTERS time and time again.

Can I buy your products without the book packaging?

Yes! Just select No Packaging Required before checkout. Or you can buy our Refill Chapters without our books. We would never ask you to buy packaging when you just don’t need it. All our packaging is made from recyclable material so you can dispose of your empties responsibly.

Where do you source your products?

All of our products are manufactured from within the United Kingdom. We do research to make sure our ethics align with those we source from. 

​

 

Are your fragrances natural?

All our fragrances come from essential oils that are 100% natural. 

​

What is the shelf life of your products?

We have to balance keeping our natural products safe and fresh. We use as few preservatives as possible. This means our products do have a shelf life of 6 months after opening. If our products are kept out of direct sunlight and at room temperature or below, they will stay fresher for longer. We also use Vitamin E in some of our products to extend the natural shelf life and keep the oils in their freshest and most potent form.

How do I find you?

We are a Shoreditch brand but you wont find us on the high street.
We started the company from our home overlooking Shoreditch Park in East London. With three kids under foot we want to keep our reach as wide as possible whilst staying close to home. We sell exclusively online and soon with key retailers who align with our vision. You will find our SHOREDITCH stamp on all our books.

SHIPPING

UK& DOMESTIC SHIPPING

 

All orders are shipped within 3–5 business days, unless otherwise noted in description of product. All our deliveries are sent via Royal Mail using a 'signed for' service.

 

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

If Customs charges do occur please note Novel Skincare is not responsible for any customs duties and other fees. Please note that International orders can take longer to arrive due to customs.

RETURNS + EXCHANGES

Due to the nature of our skincare products, we cannot accept returns of any opened products. We will offer a replacement or store credit in certain circumstances.

Any unopened items may be returned to us within 14 days and we will offer you an exchange or a full refund. We recommend that you return items via registered mail so that you have proof of dispatch in case the item is lost. 

 

*Novel Skincare will reimburse customer shipping costs for returns + exchanges if our products do not reach you in perfect condition. We do not assume responsibility for reimbursement or compensation of returned packages lost in transit without proof of delivery to Novel Skincare. This does not affect your statutory rights.
