BEAUTIFUL THOUGHTS

"Sticks and Stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me..."

This is an old adage that is a lie. Stick and stones may break my bones but bones heal. Words have a way of sticking around especially if they are hurtful. But more precisely what about the words we repeat to ourselves?

I mentioned in a recent post that I am reading The Secret. What I’m taking away from it is that how you feel is what you think. So lets look at how you feel. It is the only way your body speaks to you.

I feel frustrated a lot. Especially when it comes to work. It’s not because I don’t love what I do it’s because there is so much I want to achieve but there is so little time. As I read the pages of The Secret began to feel that frustration even more. I constantly ask myself “Why isn’t it working for me?” I am a very positive person. I act confidently towards what I want, I think about what I’m trying to achieve and I go for it but frustration still looms. Then I read a little bit more. It tells me that my frustration will only lead to more frustration. My frustration is acting as a mental block. The secret is that my frustration will hold me back from achieving what I want and so will bring more frustration.

I have been excelling at holding myself back through my thoughts of frustration. I have been limiting my time through believing that I have limited time. Guess what I’m been doing now? Now I am believing I have an abundance of time. I believe that my actions are not limited by time. I do not feel frustrated...I do not feel frustrated...I do not... Lets see what happens.
