A BODY OF WORK

I still think of the world in school terms. September is definitely the start of a new year for me. I always shop for new clothes then and get excited about new plans I’ve made on a beach somewhere. The summer term on the other hand is always the most mentally stimulating because I equate it to exams: that challenge to pack loads of fun into the longer days and cram in just as much information on those warm nights, only for it all to be forgotten forever.

This summer we’re working on a new chapter, a project called “A Body of Work”. No one makes a body of work anymore. It’s all sound bites, 300 words long and forgotten in a thumb scroll. But what if you could remember everything? Recall all the conversations you’ve ever had, retell the life you’ve lived like an story?

An old friend came to visit the other day. I haven’t seen her in at least three years. As she walked through my door I remembered everything. Every story she ever told me, ever conversation we’d ever had. Just from looking at her. She was amazed at my memory but that is just how I remember things – visually. In her, in you, there are stories in everything. Subscribe below so you don’t miss it. I think you’ll like it.
